Born on September 26, 1981 in Jersey City, New Jersey, Christina Milian began her singing career in 2001 when she released her debut album Christina Milian, and the success of the singles "AM To PM" and "When You Look At Me" paved the way for the success of the album.
Milian followed in 2003 with her second album It's About Time, the album failed to receive commercial success selling 36,000 copies in the first week. Milian's third album So Amazin', released in 2006 fared somewhat better than the last debuting at #11 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
Furthermore, the singer has appeared in films and TV shows, having minor parts in American Pie, A Bug's Life, Smart Guy, Get Real, Clueless, Charmed, and The Steve Harvey Show.
In 2002 Milian became the host of the MTV show Wannabes, which led to a lead role in the movie Love Don't Cost a Thing, she has also appeared in Man of the House, Pulse and Be Cool.
